Hello, Ms. Whoever,
I saw your advertisement for the position of an amusement park attendant, and I’d like to apply for a summer position. I’m a 15-year-old who is finishing up ninth grade (and I will have finished it by the start of the next summer. I’m applying to gain some work experience and hopefully to better understand work culture, before moving on to secondary education. I know that you offer many appropriate job positions for teenagers, which is why I’ve chosen to apply.
Though I don’t have official paid work experience,
I volunteered for a mosaic club for the elderly in 2022 and learned good communication skills that are useful in a work setting.
I have excellent English skills, am a native Finnish speaker, and speak Spanish at a level suited for customer service.
